The KC Bike and Footchase was started in 2005 as a way to help promote fitness and community relationship’s while raising money for local non-profits. During the first two years this race has helped raise money for Congenital Heart Defects, Juvenile Diabetes Research, Brain Injury prevention, Police families in need, and the preservation of KCPD’s nationally recognized law enforcement history. Members of the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department North Patrol Division are very proud of the community they serve and feel that this is a way to give back to the community while having fun. We are lucky again to have the Kansas City Police Historical Society as our CO-host.
Every year the event has grown and been enjoyed by all different age groups and fitness levels. Our main goal is to provide you with a little fun and competition while raising money for charity(as always your entry is tax-deductible). In the past we have held post race raffles for some great prizes. Please come and join us again this year and sign-up a friend to come with you.
