The KCPDFF is a non-profit 501c3, non-partisan, service organization consisting of friends and family of sworn and non-sworn personnel of the Kansas City Police Department who wish to support the department, its members, and the community.
Organized primarily to operate as a support group for friends and family members of all department personnel of the Kansas City Police Department, the KCPDFF also participates and/or facilitates community oriented service projects to:
· Educate members and other interested parties in aspects directly related to law enforcement inclusive of benefits and resources available.
· Cooperate and participate with department and community leaders and other support organizations to foster a positive relationship between the police department, officers, and the community.
· Make available means of communication with other law enforcement members, families and friends.
The KCPDFF contributes to the community by donating time and money to include, but not limited to, the following organizations:
· The Ronald McDonald House
· Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
· Community Blood Center
· American Heart Association
· Harvesters
· Northlands’s Night Out Against Crime
